Founded in 1999 Coastal Valley Aviation, Inc. became a reality for owner Phil Kirkham, aiming to fill the need for quality maintenance at an affordable price. CVA is rapidly earning a reputation for honesty, dedication, and a commitment to quality.
FAA Certified Authorized Inspector with over 30 years experience, you can trust your aircraft will receive the finest care available. CVA comes highly recommended by the Cessna Pilots Association and Savvy Aircraft Management.
Factory trained, CVA mechanics are familiar with all aspects of design, operation, structural, and engine repair. His factory training includes Cessna single & twin engine maintenance, Cirrus Aircraft, Pratt & Whitney, Garrett Engines, and TCM Turbo & Fuel Injection Systems. Phil has and continues to instruct classes on Cessna Aircraft systems for the Cessna Pilots Association.
Our facility continues to grow and has extended our services as an Authorized Cirrus Aircraft Service Center and a Certified CubCrafters Service Center, with trained professionals who work hard to earn your trust.

Our Facility
The facility has easy access for customers both outside the field and for those flying in. Our front door is located by the north hangar entrance, where there is parking for guests. Pilots flying in will find us by the tower with easy access off of runway 30-12, with several tie down spaces available. Aircraft are safely secured behind a fence with the airport security cameras always observing the field.
WIFI internet access. Bathrooms are conveniently located near the lounge area. There are also great restaurants in the hotel and terminal. Comfort and convenience for our customers’ needs are accommodated at the Santa Maria airport.
Coastal Valley Aviation technicians are well trained and experienced in GA aircraft. All work is certified by an A&P mechanic. We assist to make aircraft maintenance easy for the customer while giving them quality work
